Senior AI Engineer (Insurance Product Innovation)

Your Mission: Engineer Robust AI Systems for Next-Gen Insurance

As a Senior AI Engineer within our Data & Digital Transformation (DX) team, you will be the cornerstone of this effort. Your mission is to architect, build, and deploy scalable, reliable AI/ML systems that power innovative insurance solutions for millions of customers. You will bridge the gap between advanced data science and production-ready software, ensuring our models deliver real-world value at scale.

Core Responsibilities

You will own the full engineering lifecycle of our AI capabilities, focusing on system design, MLOps, and integration:

• AI System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures for deploying machine learning models and AI applications into production environments.

• MLOps & Productionization: Establish and champion MLOps best practices, including CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring, and automated retraining pipelines to ensure model performance and reliability.

• High-Performance Model Deployment: Optimize and deploy machine learning models (traditional ML and LLMs) for low-latency inference, leveraging containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Data Scientists to operationalize prototypes, with Software Engineers to integrate AI into applications, and with DevOps/Cloud teams to manage infrastructure.

• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, set coding standards, and mentor junior engineers to elevate the team's engineering excellence.

Who We Are Looking For: Qualifications & Skills

We are seeking an expert engineer who is passionate about building robust systems and has a proven track record of taking AI from research to impact.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

• A minimum of 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on building and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems.

• Proven experience in the insurance, fintech, or a related regulated industry is a strong advantage.
